According to SAEDNEWS: quoting Tootia, after marrying Fawzia, the Shah continued his illicit affairs, which led to Queen Fawzia becoming furious over his romantic escapades. While still married to Fawzia, the Shah fell in love with a girl named Pari Deyousalar. At the time, he had not yet adopted strict security protocols, so he would visit her house alone in a car.

Through the scheming of Ernest Perron, Fawzia was informed of the affair. Perron took Fawzia to the meeting spot, and when Mohammad Reza exited Deyousalar’s house, she saw him. In retaliation for the Shah’s betrayal, Fawzia became close to Taghi Emami, which further deepened tensions between her and the Shah, ultimately leading to their divorce.
