According to a reporter from the Young Journalists Club’s Night Club section, a French couple spent $300,000 on plastic surgery due to their intense fascination with Barbie and Ken characters, aiming to resemble them as closely as possible. The pair underwent more than 15 surgical procedures before finally achieving a completely doll-like appearance. To complete their transformation, they officially changed their names to Ken and Doll.
Anastasia Reskoss, a 20-year-old of Russian origin, and Quentin Dehar, 23, met at a party in 2013, where they discovered their shared passion for these iconic dolls. Interestingly, despite their families’ disapproval of their dramatic physical transformations, they continue to receive strong financial support. For instance, Anastasia’s parents bought her a set of Hermès Birkin bags worth $10,000, while Quentin, inspired by Ken, owns a Porsche Cayman convertible valued at approximately $80,000.
