SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has outlined Tehran’s conditions for ending the war and reaching an agreement with Oman on security in the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that Iran’s demands have been clearly and firmly communicated.
According to Saednews, Esmail Baghaei, speaking about the latest developments in the Iran-US negotiations, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s considerations and conditions for ending the imposed war on all fronts, as well as restoring security to the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz, had been clearly and firmly communicated.
He added that Iran’s response to the proposals put forward by the other side would be delivered through mediators.
Baghaei also said that consultations between Iran and Oman had progressed well. According to him, the two sides had agreed on the geographical coordinates of safe inbound and outbound routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
They had also reached an understanding on how the matter would be presented to the relevant international body, which, he said, would hopefully be carried out soon.
