SAEDNEWS: South Korea Sends Specialist Team to Middle East to Assess Strait of Hormuz Security
According to Saednews, Seoul has stressed that the mission is solely intended for research purposes, dismissing rumours that a deadline has been set for the deployment of forces.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei, referring to the longstanding and mutually respectful ties between Tehran and Seoul, warned that any operational involvement in the region during Iran’s defence against alleged U.S. war crimes would be regarded as support for the aggressor.
Baghaei added that no responsible country should yield to U.S. pressure or participate in aggressive actions.
