SAEDNEWS: Turkey’s presidency has responded to new threats and accusations from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, dismissing them as politically motivated and a sign of weakness.
According to SaedNews: The Turkish presidency has reacted to new threats issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against Turkey, rejecting the statements as politically motivated.
A statement from the Turkish presidential office said remarks targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan were part of a “worthless” policy aimed at securing electoral gains. It described the allegations as baseless and said they demonstrated the weakness of a regime seeking to avoid accountability for alleged war crimes.
The response followed a statement from Netanyahu’s office claiming that Erdogan was attempting to expand his aggression against Israel from Syrian territory. The office said Israel would not tolerate such actions.
Netanyahu’s office further claimed that Israel would continue forcefully pursuing its efforts against what it described as Turkey’s attempts to destabilize the region, as well as against any threat to Israel’s security.
