SAEDNEWS: After weeks of exchanges of fire and heightened tensions following the end of the Islamabad agreement, no attacks were carried out against Iran last night or early this morning, allowing the country to experience a peaceful night after a prolonged period of unrest.
According to the political service of the Saed News analytical news website, after nearly three weeks of continuous exchanges of fire between Iran and the United States, the country experienced a completely calm atmosphere for the first time last night and early Friday morning, with no reports of any attacks.
The relative calm came after both countries had attempted to establish a ceasefire from mid-June, following the signing of the “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding” on June 17 (27 Khordad). However, the agreement did not last long, as Donald Trump announced on July 10 that the deal with Iran had ended, a move that led to the resumption of clashes and renewed exchanges of fire between the two sides.
Despite the ongoing tensions, no military incidents or attacks were reported across the country last night or early Friday morning, allowing Iranian citizens to experience a night free from conflict after weeks of heightened anxiety.
