SAEDNEWS: The IRGC said it targeted the U.S. Fifth Fleet's command center in Bahrain early Wednesday as part of its retaliatory operation against the United States.

IRGC Reportedly Targets U.S. Fifth Fleet Command and Control Center in Bahrain

According to Saednews, The fifth wave of Operation Nasr 2 (Victory 2) was launched at dawn by the IRGC Navy, hitting “the NSI Management Center, the Command and Control Center, major warehouses containing military parts and equipment, and fuel depots belonging to the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, the IRGC said in a statement.

“The child-killing US army…, by deploying its pirates in the Indian Ocean last night, claiming control of the Strait of Hormuz, has closed the ocean routes to ships and deprived the world of oil and gas from the region. With the crushing operation of the IRGC Navy, it received a response to its evil deeds this morning,” the statement said.

“In the fifth wave of Operation Nasr 2, codenamed ‘YA Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS)’, the NSI management center, the command control center, major warehouses containing military parts and equipment, and fuel depots belonging to the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain were pounded and destroyed,” it added.

“The enemy should know that now that his pirates have closed the route for exporting oil and gas to the world from the Indian Ocean, which endangers the interests of America’s economic rivals, they must wait for the closure of other oil and gas export routes that serve the interests of America and its allies,” the IRGC statement said.

“The region’s oil and gas exports are either for everyone or for no one,” it emphasized.

The United States has perpetrated numerous violations against Iranian territory since April 7, when US President Donald Trump announced a unilateral ceasefire in the latest bout of US-Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic.

The violations continued even after Washington and Tehran signed a Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding in June, the first clause of which clearly mandates cessation of aggression on all fronts.

The United States has also been trying to help vessels evade the maritime route designated by the Islamic Republic for safe and legal passage through the Strait of Hormuz by seeking to escort trespassing vessels through an illegal passageway.

Iran's Armed Forces have staged uncompromising retaliation in the face of each instance of violation, including those in support of illegal vessel movement in the Strait of Hormuz.
