Fox News reported that the US military carried out strikes on the ports of Qeshm and Bandar Abbas but emphasized that these attacks do not mean the start of a war.

🔹CBS reported that two US Navy destroyers passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday came under heavy Iranian attack for the second time in a few days.
🔹American officials described the attacks as more intense and sustained than the attacks on Monday.
🔹According to CBS News, the destroyers “USS Truxtun” and “USS Mason” were targeted by heavy Iranian attacks.
🔹US officials speaking anonymously said large groups of Iranian speedboats approached the destroyers so closely that the US Navy opened fire to keep them away.
🔹CBS wrote that the confrontation lasted for several hours. American destroyers and supporting aircraft defended themselves using five-inch guns and close-in weapon systems (CIWS).
