According to SAEDNEWS, Tucker Carlson, American commentator and former Fox News host, made controversial remarks in which he alleged that Donald Trump is under the influence of, or effectively “controlled by,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters in the United States.
Carlson said that after several weeks of escalating tensions, Trump attempted to move toward a ceasefire and negotiations with Iran, particularly after Iran set a condition regarding Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon. However, according to Carlson, these diplomatic efforts were obstructed by Tel Aviv.
He further argued that Israeli military actions in Lebanon and strikes on civilians occurred immediately after Trump’s ceasefire announcement, in order to eliminate any possibility of agreement or peaceful resolution. Carlson described the main objective of these actions as preventing negotiations and continuing the war until Iran is weakened or destabilized.
