SAEDNEWS: US Proposed Iraq-Style Economic Model to Iran, Says Saeed Laylaz: “Give Us Your Oil and We Will Sell It”
According to the politics service of Saednews, citing Mehr News Agency, Saeed Leilaz said that the United States had once proposed that Iran adopt an Iraq-like economic model. Under this proposal, Iran would hand over its oil to the U.S. for sale on its behalf.
Leilaz further explained that in the case of Iraq, most of the revenue from oil sales ultimately remains under U.S. control.
