SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi issued a stern warning after CENTCOM admitted U.S. HIMARS rocket systems were deployed in neighboring countries targeting Iran. He stated that Iran’s missile forces would strike and destroy the systems in retaliation if necessary.
According to SAEDNEWS On his X account, Araqchi denounced US military operations in the region, criticizing the use of neighboring countries’ territories to launch HIMARS missile systems.
“Thank you, CENTCOM, for confirming that you are using our neighbors' land to deploy HIMARS against our people, apparently even targeting a desalination plant,” he stated.
He added a warning: “No one should be surprised if our powerful missiles strike these systems wherever they are in retaliation.”
Araqchi’s statements came after the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) posted on March 9 that US Army High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) “offer unmatched deep-strike capabilities in combat” against Iran.
The US and the Zionist regime initiated a major military campaign against Iran following the February 28 assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military officials and civilians.
The attacks included widespread aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations throughout Iran, causing heavy casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure.
In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces have launched counter-operations, striking American and Israeli positions in occupied territories and regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
