SAEDNEWS: The U.S. president asserted that Iranians have already built missiles capable of striking Europe and will soon develop missiles that can target the United States. He claimed that, at this very moment, they are pursuing what he described as malign objectives.

Trump’s Outburst Against Iran in the U.S. Congress Accompanied by an Admission of Iran’s Missile Power

According to the political desk of Saed News Agency, Donald Trump claimed during a portion of his first annual address to the U.S. Congress that he had brought an end to eight wars around the world. His remarks were met with laughter and ridicule from Democratic lawmakers.

Responding to the reaction, Trump said, “These people are sick,” and asserted that he had ended conflicts between Pakistan and India, Iran and Israel, Cambodia and Thailand, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as other wars including the Gaza conflict. He added, “Thirty-five million people told me that if I had not stopped the war between Pakistan and India, the Prime Minister of Pakistan would have been killed.” Trump also thanked Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their efforts in helping end what he described as these wars.

Referring to the war in Ukraine, Trump further claimed, “We are working to end the ninth war, which is the war between Ukraine and Russia. Thousands of soldiers are being killed every day. If I had been president, this war would never have happened. As president, I pursue peace wherever possible, but I will not hesitate for a moment in the face of any threat against America.”

In remarks directed at Iran, Trump alleged, “That’s why we attacked Iran last summer, and during that attack we destroyed all of Iran’s nuclear facilities. This operation is known as ‘Midnight Hammer.’”

He continued, “For decades, U.S. policy has been to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. When America lost control of Iran 47 years ago, the Iranian government and its proxy forces have promoted nothing but terrorism, hatred, and killing. They have maimed thousands of Americans and harmed millions around the world. In my administration, I eliminated (General) Soleimani, and that action had tremendous impact. Soleimani was the father of roadside bombs.”

Trump also claimed, “During the protests in recent months in Iran, the Iranian government killed more than 32,000 protesters within its own country. The government either shot them or executed them. We prevented many of these executions by threatening large-scale violence. Right now, Iranians have built missiles capable of targeting Europe, and soon they will build missiles capable of targeting the United States.”

He added, “After Operation Midnight Hammer, they were warned not to build a nuclear weapon, but they are seeking to restart their nuclear program. At this very moment, they are pursuing their sinister objectives. We are negotiating with them. The Iranians want a deal, but we have not yet heard statements indicating a decision not to pursue nuclear weapons.”

Trump’s claims come despite repeated statements from Iranian officials emphasizing that nuclear weapons have no place in Iran’s political and military doctrine. Even U.S. officials, including members of his own administration, have previously acknowledged this point.

Meanwhile, although Trump has portrayed himself as concerned about the Iranian people, he recently posted on Truth Social threatening Iran with war and “very bad and unpleasant events.”

Concluding his remarks, Trump said, “My preference is to resolve this issue through diplomacy, but I will never allow the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism to obtain a nuclear weapon.”
