SAEDNEWS: Commander Hassan Zadeh said, “We promise that the wish of Haj Ahmad Motevaselian — that the banner of Muhammad, the Messenger of God (PBUH), be raised across the world and that Israel be destroyed — will be fulfilled.”
According to the political desk of Saed News, Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh, commander of the IRGC’s Mohammad رسول الله (PBUH) Corps in Greater Tehran, spoke at the funeral ceremony of the mother of the missing-in-action commander Ahmad Motevaselian.
Addressing Motevaselian directly, Hassanzadeh said that after the United States and the “Zionist regime” suffered what he described as a major defeat in a 12-day imposed war, they attempted another “desperate move” through what he characterized as a quasi-coup, seeking—according to him—to force the Islamic Republic into submission.
“But Haj Ahmad,” he continued, “your Basijis, your comrades, your forces stood firm in the very streets of Tehran with empty hands and were martyred. Some were stabbed with knives; others were killed with swords, machetes, and Kalashnikovs.”
Hassanzadeh added, according to Defa Press, “Haj Ahmad! We did not retreat for even a moment. We stood strong, and we promise you that, God willing, by the grace of the Almighty and through the blessing of the martyrs’ blood, we will realize your two aspirations: first, that the flag of Muhammad, the Messenger of God (PBUH), be raised across the world; and second, that Israel be destroyed.”
