SAEDNEWS: Axios and Reuters Claim Iran’s Foreign Minister to Meet U.S. Special Envoy in Istanbul on Friday
According to the political desk of SaedNews, Axios and Reuters have claimed that Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, and Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy, are scheduled to meet in Istanbul on Friday.
Axios described the meeting as the result of recent diplomatic efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey.
Reuters further suggested that regional countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman, are likely to participate in the discussions between Tehran and Washington.
So far, Iranian officials have not responded to these reports from Western media outlets.
