SAEDNEWS: An Austrian woman, during her trip to Croatia, unintentionally brought several insects from Croatia back to her home. Meanwhile, environmental activists are working to return these insects to their natural habitat.
According to Saednews Quoting UPI, an animal rescue service in Austria said in a press release that a woman returned home to Natternbach after traveling to Croatia. While unpacking her suitcase, she discovered a mother scorpion along with 17 baby scorpions hidden inside her luggage.
Rescue workers stated that the insects were safely secured and handed over to specialists. They are currently being kept at an animal shelter in Linz, where they will be prepared for their return journey to Croatia and eventually released back into the wild.
