SAEDNEWS: Three aid workers from the Iranian Red Crescent Society were targeted in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli regime and the US on Monday afternoon while conducting a rescue mission, according to official reports.
This marks yet another instance in which the Israeli regime, in violation of international law and humanitarian principles governing armed conflicts, has targeted Red Crescent personnel during their humanitarian missions.
Authorities reported that the general condition of the rescue workers is currently stable.
It is worth noting that during the 12-day Sacred Defense conflict, five Red Crescent workers were directly attacked while providing aid and were martyred.
