SAEDNEWS: Next, Discover Stunning Videos and Images of the Century-Old General’s House – A Showcase of Qajar Era Artistic Mastery
Report by Saed News Tourism Service: The Sardei Brigadier House, dating back to the Qajar era, is located in the Lader-e Foroushan neighborhood of Khomeini Shahr. This historical complex comprises several houses, a divankhaneh (reception hall), a bathhouse, and a Hosseiniyeh, and is attributed to Brigadier Mohammad Hossein Khan Amini Sardei. The construction of the building dates to 1315–1316 AH and was commissioned by the brigadier to host Zill-os-Soltan.
The architecture of the house is a clear example of Qajar style, featuring exquisite stucco work, wood carvings, and mirror decorations. The divankhaneh includes a main hall, a pool hall, and rooms with three- and five-door layouts. Natural elements were used to provide light and warmth throughout the building. Its exterior façade closely resembles the Eram Garden mansion in Shiraz and is constructed from raw bricks and clay.
