SAEDNEWS: Iran's Defense minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh says the country has reached a favorable level of maturity in its space program.
According to Saednews, “It’s close to 34 years that the Ministry of Defense has begun working on space area and it’s nearly 27 years since Iran’s first satellite was successfully launched,” the minister said as he monitored live images transmitted by a newly-launched Iranian satellite as it passed over the Iranian sky.
Referring to new players entering the space technology, General Nassirzadeh said that Iran should play an active role as it is much capable in this area.
He predicted a bright future for Iran’s space technology, expressing hope that the country would become a superpower in this area.
