According to the Society section of Saed News, an archaeologist who has dedicated twenty years of her life to searching for Cleopatra’s lost tomb has recently made a striking new discovery. Apparently, a tunnel found beneath an Egyptian temple could be a pathway leading to the legendary tomb. Architectural experts have called this mysterious tunnel a “miracle of engineering.”

Kathleen Martinez, an archaeologist from Santo Domingo University, has spent nearly two decades hunting for Cleopatra’s lost tomb. Now, Martinez believes she may have made a major breakthrough in her quest.

Even after more than two thousand years, Cleopatra remains a mysterious and enchanting figure, inspiring countless books and films. She was an educated woman, renowned for her intelligence, and famously connected to two prominent Romans—Julius Caesar and Mark Antony—maintaining alliances with them until her death.

He was a well-known figure among the people. He is also noted for his connection with two prominent Romans. Excavations indicate that this temple was dedicated to Isis, and Martinez believes this provides another clue that the lost tomb and underwater tunnels may be located nearby.

Martinez is now embarking on a new journey: underwater excavation. According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Egypt’s coastline has been affected by earthquakes over the centuries. This has caused parts of Taposiris Magna to collapse and sink beneath the waves.

It is still too early to confirm where the tunnels lead. However, Martinez remains hopeful, stating that if the tunnels lead to Cleopatra’s tomb, it would be “the most important discovery of the century.”
