Iranian Military Chief: Western Silence Toward Israeli Crimes Reveals Moral Collapse/ 'The Future Belongs to Our People, Not the Oppressors'

According to Saed News, On Thursday morning, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, spoke at a ceremony marking the Arbaeen (40th day) of the "Martyrs of Power" in Iran. He referred to the elevated status of the martyrs and described them as the strong pillars of Iran’s security today and for the future.

According to Tasnim News, General Mousavi stated:
"The fortieth day of the martyrdom of Iran's valiant sons—from infants and children to scientists, medics, journalists, commanders, and volunteers—coinciding with the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (AS), reflects the enduring spirit of Ashura in our nation's history."

He emphasized that although the martyrdom of these beloved individuals was a painful blow, through the prayers of the Hidden Imam (May God hasten his reappearance), the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader, and the active presence of the Iranian people, a new chapter of power, scientific progress, and social cohesion has opened in the country.

"The world witnessed that Iran cannot be defeated," he added. "This nation is nourished by the culture of sacrifice and faith in divine promise."

Praising the martyred scientists, field commanders, and ordinary citizens who stood firm under intense attacks, Mousavi said:
"The combination of national pride, knowledge, courage, perseverance, and spirituality not only serves as a deterrent, but also paves the path for Iran’s progress and elevation."

He continued:
"These martyrs, in the face of threats, prioritized their historical duty over personal interests, proving that this nation is capable of generating power in the harshest arenas. Their message is clear: the path of dignity, independence, and the revival of a modern Islamic-Iranian civilization continues."

Mousavi highlighted the oppression of the recent martyrs, stating:
"The martyrdom of these valuable individuals—families, youth, students, athletes, scientists, and commanders—shows that the enemies of the Islamic Republic deeply fear the foundational pillars of this country: the family and the next generation."

He added:
"Their martyrdom has strengthened Iran’s resolve, deepened national unity, and amplified the nation’s voice of resistance. Today, all have rallied under the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic, presenting the world with a renewed image of a proud and resilient nation."

Stressing that Iran is engaged in various battlefronts—military, cognitive, media, cultural, and economic—he stated:
"We must be prepared for all arenas. We are aware of the people's difficulties and the responsibilities of officials to provide for their well-being. Yet we must remain vigilant, for the enemy’s hybrid warfare is targeting our unity and national morale."

Referring to Israel’s role in recent events, General Mousavi said:
"The latest incidents clearly exposed the falsity of the Zionist regime’s claims. Their true objective is to drag Iran into chaos and war. But they do not realize: if a single aggressor sets foot on this soil, the Iranian people—regardless of creed—will stand united in resistance."

He went on to say that the United States and several Western nations are complicit in crimes alongside the Zionist regime, noting:
"This child-killing regime has no future. What it exhibits today are merely signs of anxiety and collapse. Like a runaway vehicle with no brakes, it is spiraling into oblivion. We are astounded by those countries tying their fate to such an unstable entity."

Addressing U.S. and Western leaders, Mousavi warned:
"I ask the rational minds in America: do you truly wish to sacrifice your country’s future to save Netanyahu? The Iranian people will never forget the wounds of your betrayal and crimes. Future generations will loudly cry for justice on behalf of this oppressed nation."

Finally, Mousavi paid tribute to the new generation of resistance fighters, saying:
"Our children and youth have heard the sound of your bombs—and their echo will one day deafen your own ears. The daughters of this land, raised by the tears of martyr-mothers, will raise children who will wipe the sinister grins off the faces of our enemies. The future belongs to our nation, and the oppressors are doomed before the faith of this people."
