SAEDNEWS: In a rare public admonition, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has urged President Trump to abandon his “nonsense statements” and erratic rhetoric, accusing him of speaking from a position of disarray after the recent 12‑day hostilities.
According to Saed News, the IRGC spokesman delivered an unusually pointed reprimand of President Donald Trump’s public remarks, describing them as “nonsense” born of disorientation following what Tehran characterises as a decisive setback in the month‑long conflict. Speaking against the backdrop of a grand funeral ceremony for Iranians killed in Israeli strikes, the spokesman insisted that Washington’s leader had underestimated Iran’s resolve.
He depicted the 12‑day confrontation—triggered by June 13 attacks on Iranian military, nuclear and civilian sites—as a demonstration of national unity and defiance. “Today marks a historic day in Iran,” the spokesman declared, referencing the mass turnout at the ceremony. He contrasted this solidarity with what he called Trump’s “erratic behaviour,” warning the president to “open his eyes and stop his nonsense statements.”
The address highlighted Operation True Promise III, in which the IRGC Aerospace Force reportedly launched 22 waves of missile strikes across Israeli territory, inflicting “heavy losses.” The spokesman argued that Tehran’s continued military response underscored its capacity to threaten adversaries existentially—and that any attempts to diminish Iran’s standing would fail.
In an accompanying social‑media post, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed the demand for respectful discourse, urging Trump to refrain from disparaging language towards Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He emphasised that genuine negotiations must rest upon mutual respect rather than provocative rhetoric.
With the ceasefire of June 24 holding in fragile equilibrium, Tehran’s forceful messaging signals that convoluted diplomatic interplay may now hinge as much on language as on ballistic capability.
