SAEDNEWS: The Legal Deputy of the President announced that nine people are accused in the disappearance of carpets from the Sa’dabad Complex, including a senior former government official and his son.
According to the Political Service of Saed News, quoting IRNA, Mohammad Dehghan, the Vice President for Legal Affairs, stated that one of the senior members of the previous administration and his son are among the main suspects in the disappearance of the Saadabad Palace carpets.
Below are the key points from Dehghan’s statements:
Based on information from the Legal Affairs Office, these carpets went missing between 2013 and 2016 and were removed from the Saadabad complex.
The General Inspection Organization submitted a detailed report on the disappearance of these carpets during the twelfth government to the then-Presidential Office.
There is no doubt that the carpets disappeared during Rouhani’s administration, and claims that the incident relates to the government before Rouhani are not accurate.
The number of suspects in the Saadabad carpet case is nine. One of the senior officials of the previous administration and his son are among the accused, and another suspect is an official from the Presidential Office of the former government.
