SAEDNEWS: The Chief of Staff of the Israeli regime’s army stated that there is no ceasefire in Gaza; only the operational situation has changed.
According to the political desk of Saed News, quoting Russia Al-Youm, “Eyal Zamir,” Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, said: the war in Gaza is not over, and we must remain vigilant and ready to defend ourselves and to resume the war at any moment.
He said on Sunday during a field visit to the westernmost point of the “Nestarim” axis: if our soldiers are released, that would be an important achievement and the fulfillment of the war’s objective.
The Chief of Staff continued: “Two years ago we experienced the most dangerous event in our history. We do not intend to return to the days before October 7.”
He went on to claim: we are changing the reality across the Middle East and in every arena, and we are destroying the enemy on every battlefield.
The Chief of Staff added: “There is no ceasefire in Gaza; rather, only the operational situation has changed, and if political efforts are not successful, we will return to fighting. We will continue to carry out our mission while preserving the lives of our forces.”
Zamir stated: the Israeli military has other war objectives, namely preventing the Hamas movement from continuing to operate as a political and military entity in Gaza.
