SAEDNEWS: After three years of anticipation, the manual Nissan Z Nismo joins production, delivering an exhilarating driving experience.
According to SaedNews Family Magazine, Nissan first launched the 2023 Z model without a high-performance Nismo version, introducing a 9-speed automatic a year later. Now, after three years, the manual Z Nismo is set to arrive, promising an exhilarating driving experience.
The manual Z Nismo will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, featuring a 6-speed manual transmission and right-hand drive, appealing to sports car enthusiasts. Released images highlight its ball-shaped gear knob and unique shift pattern.

In 2023, Nissan America chief Christian Mounier confirmed the manual Z Nismo was in development, though its release date was unclear. It now appears the car will reach markets in 2027.
A redesigned Fairlady Z will also launch in Japan in summer 2027, boasting updated styling for improved aerodynamics. A new Nismo concept model will also be showcased at the Tokyo show.
The manual Z Nismo pairs a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 420 horsepower—20 more than the standard Z—allowing enthusiasts to enjoy this powerful engine with a fully manual transmission.
