SAEDNEWS: On Saturday morning, the Israeli regime’s radio claimed that Israel’s political leadership had ordered the military to immediately scale back its operations in Gaza to the minimum and engage only in defensive actions. However, the reality on the ground exposes this as an Israeli falsehood.
According to Saed News Political Service, in the early hours of today, extensive attacks by the Israeli army continued in western Gaza City, accompanied by massive explosions across the city. Heavy Israeli artillery fire intensified on the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while the Al-Bureij camp, also in central Gaza, became another target of Israeli artillery.
Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, was also struck by intense Israeli air raids.
The media office of the Palestinian government in Gaza reported that, despite repeated international calls to halt the bombings, the occupying forces continue what it describes as acts of genocide for the second consecutive day. During this period, 94 people have been killed across the Strip, with Gaza City alone accounting for 61 of the casualties. Dozens of women and children are among the victims.
The office further noted that the occupying forces have carried out more than 131 airstrikes in areas of the Gaza Strip densely populated by civilians and displaced persons.
