Kaja Kallas Accuses Iran of Breaching Nuclear Deal, Warns of 30-Day Window for Resolution

According to Saed News, Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, repeated certain anti-Iran claims, asserting that Iran has long failed to comply with the terms of the JCPOA. She stated that the European troika now has the right to decide on activating the snapback mechanism.

Without mentioning Western violations or the political maneuvers of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Kallas claimed: “If you pay attention to the conditions stipulated in the JCPOA, Iran has long failed to adhere to them.”

She added: “Therefore, the decision is with the three European countries, and of course we now have a 30-day opportunity to resolve the issues, and perhaps reach a different solution.”

Claiming that Europe is seeking a “diplomatic solution” within this 30-day window, Kallas said the bloc has concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile program, and Tehran’s support for Russia in the war in Ukraine.
