Expert: Many of Iran’s Economic Challenges Stem from the 13th Government

According to Saed News quoting Arman-e Melli, Mohammad Mahajeri stated in an interview:

“The method of blaming previous governments for current problems has been most evident during Mr. Raisi’s administration. He coined the term ‘architects of the current situation’ essentially to undermine prior governments.

Now, whether Mr. Pashaeian attributes the faults to his predecessors or refrains from doing so, the reality will not change.

A large portion of the problems we currently face unfortunately emerged during the 13th government. Part of the economic imbalances is related to that administration, which quickly lost negotiation opportunities.

These opportunities could have helped remove sanctions and, consequently, support economic development.”
