SAEDNEWS: Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed six new members to the board of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund to promote the knowledge-based economy and complete the idea-to-market chain.
Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a decree appointing Shahin Akhoundzadeh, Ehsan Chitsaz, Mohammad Nabi Sheikhi-Tash, Mohammad Reza Kashfi-Nishabouri, Mehdi Ghasemi Ali-Abadi, and Mehdi Faqihi as members of the executive board of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund.
According to Saed News, the presidential decree reads:
"In accordance with Article 10 of the amended statute of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, approved on September 20, 2012, and based on the resolution of the fund's board of trustees dated July 18, 2025, considering your commitment and valuable experience, you are hereby appointed as a member of the executive board of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund."
The decree emphasizes that the new board members are expected, with reliance on God and within the framework of the constitution, the national vision document, the Supreme Leader’s approved general policies, the Seventh Development Plan, and the ethical charter of government officials, to effectively collaborate with relevant executive bodies and the fund’s board of trustees to promote a knowledge-based economy, complete the idea-to-market chain, and operationalize knowledge through support for knowledge-based companies and institutions.
