SAEDNEWS: Iranian officials highlight their commitment to diplomacy during Geneva talks with three European countries and the EU, urging international partners and the UN Security Council to allow space and time for constructive negotiations.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Urges Europe to Give Diplomacy Time Amid Nuclear Discussions

According to Saed News quoting ISNA, Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy for Legal and International Affairs at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, outlined the outcomes of the latest round of talks between Iran, the three European countries party to the JCPOA, and the European Union representative in Geneva.

Gharibabadi wrote on his personal X (formerly Twitter) page on Tuesday: Dr. Takht-Ravanchi and I held another meeting with the political directors of the three European countries in Geneva. Both sides presented their views regarding UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister added: Iran remains committed to diplomacy and a mutually beneficial diplomatic solution.

The senior Iranian diplomat concluded: It is time for the three European countries and the UN Security Council to make the right choice and give diplomacy time and space.
