SAEDNEWS: Iran’s defense leaders emphasized the military’s successes against advanced threats, highlighting missile, cyber, and air defense capabilities, while Parliament pledged full support for enhancing national defense and improving military personnel welfare.
According to Saed News, quoting ISNA, Amir Aziz Nasirzadeh, in a meeting with the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and the heads of parliamentary commissions, while referring to the achievements of the defense industry, emphasized: Within the framework of the guidelines of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the preservation and continuous enhancement of readiness to confront enemy threats, the Armed Forces—with self-reliance, reliance on faith, focus on knowledge, continuity of innovation and modern technologies, and the Ministry of Defense with a jihadist approach—have proven to the world the vulnerability of the wicked Zionist regime, particularly in the recent imposed war.
He continued: In the recent sacred and national defense, the Armed Forces, by using the achievements of advanced defense industries, managed through offensive operations to successfully bypass the multilayered and advanced defenses of the Zionist regime, which were supported by other Western governments and the United States, and destroyed many of their military targets with missiles that are the result of the efforts of defense scientists.
In this meeting, held to commemorate the defense industry during Government Week, the heads of the Ideological-Political Organization, the Information Protection Organization, and deputies of the Ministry of Defense explained the course of actions, strategic and ongoing approaches, as well as the interactions of the Ministry of Defense with Parliament, the Government, and the Armed Forces, and outlined the state of defense readiness.
Later in the meeting, members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and the heads of specialized parliamentary commissions, while praising the achievements of the Armed Forces and the victory of the Iranian nation in the imposed war by the Zionist regime, emphasized the importance of strengthening Armed Forces’ actions to enhance the capabilities of the defense industry in strategic areas such as missile development, air defense, cyber capabilities, and other domains of ground, air, and naval warfare, aiming for greater national technological and defense integration. They also affirmed Parliament’s readiness to support the Armed Forces and defense industries.
Improving the livelihood of Armed Forces personnel and retirees, as well as ensuring complete and timely provision of resources and credits for strengthening the country’s defense capacity in the current year and the annual budget bill, were other points raised and emphasized by the Parliament representatives.
