SAEDNEWS: IRGC Quds Force Deputy Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi dismissed Hezbollah’s disarmament as an American-Israeli scheme, stressing that the Lebanese people and resistance will never accept it. He warned that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression following the recent 12-day war.
According to Saed News quoting ILNA, Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force, described the disarmament of Hezbollah as an “American-Israeli scheme” and stated:
“Neither the Lebanese people nor the resistance force Hezbollah will accept this plan, and it will never be realized.”
Masjedi emphasized that the weapons of the resistance are the weapons of the Lebanese people to defend this land against the aggressions of the Zionist regime, adding:
“The issue of disarmament is not new, but it will never be implemented in any way.”
The Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force also referred to the readiness of the armed forces after the 12-day defensive war and warned:
“If the enemies intend to commit aggression, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, with full preparedness and complete power, will respond decisively.”
Masjedi concluded:
“Our forces’ capabilities have increased, and they are ready to respond to any kind of threat.”
