“Hezbollah of God Always Wins”: Fadavi Stresses Quranic Promise Against Enemy

According to Saed News, quoting Tasnim; the deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stating that the enemy made a miscalculation in the 12-day war, said: The enemy thought it would succeed, but divine grace and adherence to duties brought the best outcome for the devotees of Islam and the Revolution.

Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, deputy commander-in-chief of the IRGC, in the farewell and introduction ceremony of the Zanjan provincial IRGC commander, emphasized duty-centeredness, trust in God, and the need for vigilance against the enemy, and by recalling the path of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Infallible Imams (AS), considered the endurance of the Revolution as the result of fulfilling divine duties.

General Fadavi referred to the roots of the struggle between truth and falsehood and said: Just as in the early days of Islam, the Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS) steadfastly followed the divine path, and the blood of martyrs such as Hamza Sayyid al-Shuhada (AS) guaranteed the survival of Islam, this process has continued after the victory of the Islamic Revolution through the sacrifice of dear martyrs and will continue until the appearance of the final savior.

The deputy commander of the IRGC, pointing out that the Islamic Revolution remains proud and dignified after 47 years, attributed this success to fulfilling divine duties and reliance on Quranic promises, stressing: God Almighty grants results to those who fulfill their duties. Imam Khomeini (RA) worked on himself for over 40 years, began the movement, endured 15 years of perseverance, and now this path has continued for 47 years.

General Fadavi emphasized: From the very first moment, hostilities and malice against the Islamic Revolution have not stopped even for a single day and have increased daily, but today we are incomparable with our past because, based on duty, we have never stopped progressing and have not wasted even a single 24 hours in fulfilling our responsibilities.

This senior IRGC commander pointed to the importance of insight and proper understanding of global equations and said: In a world full of oppression and arrogant powers, those who are effective are the ones who constantly strengthen themselves. We must never neglect the enemy, even for a moment.

He described the recent operation as a clear example of the enemy’s miscalculation and added: The enemy thought it would succeed, but divine grace and adherence to duties brought the best outcome for the devotees of Islam and the Revolution.

General Fadavi, referring to the verses of the Holy Quran, said: It is explicitly stated in the Quran that Satan and his party will never be victorious and that it is always the party of God that triumphs; we believe in this divine promise and strive every day to strengthen our faith.

In another part of his speech, he referred to the IRGC’s approach in serving the people and said: The work of the IRGC is not limited to the military field, and wherever the Islamic Revolution requires service, we act quickly; today the IRGC is also active in matters such as water supply and building infrastructure, because our main mission is serving the people.

General Fadavi, while appreciating the efforts of commanders and guards who never ceased serving the Revolution and the people, considered this opportunity of service in the era of the Islamic Revolution and the time of the present Imam as a great blessing for everyone.

The deputy commander of the IRGC considered martyrdom as the highest rank that a non-infallible person can attain and, referring to recent martyrs such as Martyr Baqeri, Martyr Rashid, and Martyr Salami, said: At first one feels happy that his companion has reached the highest rank attainable by a non-infallible, which is martyrdom. That is why congratulations are offered upon martyrdom.

General Fadavi continued, saying that both congratulations and condolences are expressed simultaneously for martyrdom, adding: Congratulations because our loved one, our child, our brother attained martyrdom, and condolences to ourselves.

He described this process from Ashura until the time of reappearance and considered it belonging to all devotees of Islam and the Islamic Revolution.

The deputy commander of the IRGC emphasized that paradise is the reward for fulfilling divine duties, stating: The most natural outcome is entering paradise, since God sent 124,000 prophets and under the best continuous guidance of the prophets of God, and finally with the last Prophet, everything was completed.

He added: God loves His servants the most and does not want to put them in hardship; rather, He wants to elevate them, grant them greatness, and dignify them.

General Fadavi, stressing the necessity of appreciating divine blessings, said: We must be grateful and in word and deed move in accordance with the instructions of God and the Prophet (PBUH). This following is our provision for the path. We are followers of Imam Hussein (AS), and we strive to apply what we have understood and learned in practicing the instructions of Islam, the Quran, the Prophet (PBUH), the Infallible Imams (AS), and the Islamic Revolution.

General Fadavi, pointing out that the IRGC is the servant of the people, said: We are servants of the country and the people.

He thanked the families of martyrs and veterans and prayed to God for success for those serving the Islamic Revolution.

He stressed that the governor has used all his capacity to support the IRGC, adding: The officials of the province placed no restrictions in fulfilling their duties and have always supported the IRGC. This comprehensive and unlimited support is highly valuable. This unity stems from following the command of God and the Messenger of Islam.

At the end of his speech, General Fadavi wished for continued service to Islam and the Islamic Revolution and said: We wish success for General Karami, who is one of the veteran commanders of the IRGC.
