Baqaei: A new round of Iran-negotiations will begin in the coming days; Iran has rejected Europe’s letter

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press conference: The purpose of the visit of the Director and Deputy Director-General of the IAEA was to examine how Iran and the Agency interact following the attack by the Israeli regime and the United States on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities.

According to Saed News citing Mehr, Baqaei added: Previously, there had been no precedent of an attack on a country’s nuclear facilities and an inspection by the IAEA of those facilities, and security and safety concerns are also raised.

He said: This visit was conducted to draft a guideline for such circumstances. The talks continued last week, and another round of Iran-IAEA negotiations will probably be held in the coming days.

Baqaei said: Regarding the letter from the three European countries, this letter is a response to the letter from Iran’s Foreign Minister to the Security Council and European countries about the illegality of using the snapback mechanism to reinstate sanctions. The arguments of these countries are completely rejected from Iran’s perspective.
