SAEDNEWS: The head of the government’s Information Council in Sari, referring to the enemy’s attempts to turn the public against the government and the system, stated: “The enemy intended to create internal disruption through simultaneous attacks from the east and the west.”

No New War Will Start; Citizens Can Return to Their Normal Lives with Confidence

According to the SaedNews political service, Elias Hazrati, head of the government’s Information Council in Sari, emphasized the end of the recent security crisis and said: “We ask the people to return to their normal lives with confidence and not be influenced by the psychological impact of rumors.”

Referring to twelve days of tension and external threats, and the pivotal role played by the people, armed forces, government, and leadership in foiling a major plot, he said: “Our nation, our government, and our armed forces stood together and thwarted a plan that was supposed to succeed overnight. The enemy intended to create internal disruption with simultaneous attacks from the east and west, but it was the people who played the leading role in preventing it.”

Hazrati highlighted the precise performance of the country’s defense systems, adding: “Our missiles passed through all distances and hit their targets exactly. This demonstrates that our defensive power remains intact, and no one can easily bypass it.”

Rejecting the possibility of a war breaking out, Hazrati stated: “The enemy made a miscalculation and intended to turn the people against the government and the system, which they failed to do. As long as the enemy cannot compensate for its weaknesses, no war will start—and this compensation will not happen anytime soon. People should be assured and return to their normal lives. No war has occurred and none will occur.”

He also praised the round-the-clock efforts of the country’s diplomatic apparatus in managing the crisis and aligning regional and global countries with Iran’s positions.

People Played the Leading Role in Thwarting the Plots
Hazrati also spoke to activists of Dr. Pezeshkian’s campaign, recalling difficult past experiences and emphasizing the nation’s resilience during the 12-day conflict, the honesty of the new government, and the necessity of rebuilding social capital.

Referring to Pezeshkian’s personal characteristics, he described him as a symbol of attentive listening, sincere honesty, and a strong will to resolve the country’s historical issues. Hazrati emphasized the importance of reviewing the past, stating: “If those in positions today do not value the path taken and the hardships of the past, they will not fully understand the current victory and situation.”

Sharing his personal experiences, Hazrati said: “We have strived to broadcast the voice of the people.”

He added that during the recent 12-day conflict, despite support for the enemy from all regional governments and global powers, the Iranian people stood firm and maintained their unity. The people played the leading role, acknowledged by both friends and foes.

Hazrati highlighted Pezeshkian’s traits, noting: “He listens to critics, retreats from mistakes when necessary, and does not see it as defeat but as strength. He does not seek conflict but aims for synergy among ethnicities, religions, genders, and social groups.”

He addressed historical imbalances in the energy sector, noting: “While the country’s electricity need is 20,000 megawatts, the current capacity is much lower. Nevertheless, the government plans to produce 30,000 to 35,000 megawatts by the end of the year.”

He added: “A plan to build free homes for ten thousand journalists has been prepared and is under follow-up. The government seeks public participation in solving national issues.”

Regarding the educational justice initiative, Hazrati said: “Pezeshkian sees education as the starting point for reforms. He advocates renovating worn-out schools and improving software-based education. The goal is to nurture students with self-respect, law-abiding habits, and teamwork skills.”

He continued: “Today, women and youth occupy managerial positions, and barriers to participation for various groups have been broken.”

Hazrati also discussed the government’s role in thwarting plots: “The enemy intended to create a crisis through military attacks and internal disruptions. However, continuous diplomacy, internal cohesion, and the role of the people, armed forces, and leadership prevented this plot.”

He concluded: “Pezeshkian is here to dedicate himself to solving the country’s problems. He balances personal popularity with national interests. People should know that no war will start and they can return to their normal lives with peace of mind.”
