SAEDNEWS: Emphasizing the deepening of scientific and cultural relations between Iran and China, the Chinese ambassador to Iran stated that 60,000 Chinese tourists visit Iran annually.
During a visit to the University of Mazandaran on Tuesday, Chinese Ambassador to Tehran Zhong Peiwu emphasized the strategic importance of deepening scientific, cultural, and technological collaboration between Iran and China to drive comprehensive development.
Ambassador Zhong noted that nearly 60,000 Chinese tourists visit Iran annually, presenting a unique opportunity to enhance cultural and scientific exchanges between the two nations.
He stressed, “The exchange of professors and students, collaboration in artificial intelligence, and support for knowledge-based companies are key pillars for advancing our scientific partnership with Iranian universities.”
The ambassador also highlighted efforts by the Chinese Embassy in Iran to simplify visa issuance for students and tourists, aiming to strengthen people-to-people connections and expand cooperation in science and culture.
Zhong Peiwu further pointed to Persian language programs in China and Chinese language courses at the University of Mazandaran, stating: “Promoting language and cultural education in both countries will help solidify and expand our bilateral ties.”
This visit underscores a growing Sino-Iranian partnership, combining education, culture, and technology as a foundation for long-term collaboration.
