SAEDNEWS: A Hebrew-language media outlet reported that the Israeli army's casualties in its 12-day war with Iran were twice the losses it suffered during 21 months of war with Hamas.
According to Saed News, the Hebrew-language news outlet Rotter, citing a report from Israel's Ministry of Finance, stated that the losses inflicted on Israel by Iranian strikes over 12 days are twice the material damage Israel has sustained during its 21-month war with Gaza.
According to this news platform, these losses come despite the fact that the Israeli army had been preparing for this offensive for over two decades, until it launched its operation in the early hours of Friday, June 13.
The head of the Compensation Division at the Tax Authority, which operates under Israel's Ministry of Finance, recently announced that the volume of compensation claims submitted by business owners is twice the amount filed during the Gaza war and is likely to reach up to 5 billion shekels (approximately $1.423 billion).
According to a report released by the Knesset Finance Committee, around 40,000 compensation claims have been submitted so far, and the number is expected to reach 50,000.
Furthermore, as of the time of the report, more than 3,700 vehicles have been damaged in this conflict, and their owners have filed for compensation.
