France: We Participated in Tracking Iranian Drones

According to Saednews, quoting Reuters, on Wednesday night, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated during a session of the French Parliament regarding developments in the Middle East: "I confirm that the French military, using surface-to-air systems or Rafale fighter jets, intercepted fewer than ten drones during various military operations carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against Israel."

The French Defense Minister claimed that Iran launched around 400 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones toward Israel over a 12-day period.

According to Saednews, on June 12, the Zionist regime, in a blatant violation of international law and the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, launched a military attack targeting areas in Tehran and other cities, including the country’s nuclear facilities. In this terrorist act, a number of scientists, military personnel, and civilian citizens were martyred.

Following this aggression, the United States also directly attacked the nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan early Sunday morning (June 22), effectively joining the Zionist regime’s war against Iran. In response to these actions, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, invoking Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves all options to defend its national interests and the security of its people.

On Tuesday, the President of the United States claimed a ceasefire agreement had been reached between Iran and the Zionist regime. The Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that it was not the initiator of the war, asserted that if the Israeli regime ceases its unlawful aggression, Iran also has no intention of continuing its response.

In this regard, the Supreme National Security Council stated in a communiqué: "The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with zero trust in the words of the enemies and with fingers on the trigger, are fully prepared to deliver a decisive and regret-inducing response to any act of aggression."
