SAEDNEWS: Senior Iranian lawmaker Ali Khezrian has warned the United States that Iran's response to the recent military strike on its nuclear facilities will be "intelligent, unpredictable, and deeply regrettable," signaling Tehran's intent to redefine the cost of aggression in the region.

Iran Vows a Shadowy, Devastating Retaliation After U.S. Strike: “They Will Regret It Deeply”

According to Saed News, following the unprecedented U.S. military assault on Iran’s nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, Ali Khezrian—a member of Iran's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee—delivered a stark warning to Washington. Framing the strike not merely as an act of war but a psychological and political offensive, he described it as part of a broader campaign aimed at undermining national morale and projecting weakness upon Tehran’s response.

Khezrian dismissed the scale of physical damage as secondary, insisting that any attempt to pressure Iran into a limited or symbolic retaliation would amount to strategic surrender. “If we respond within the enemy’s expectations, we effectively concede to their imposed narrative,” he warned.

He argued that this was not an isolated incident, but rather an extension of the United States’ long-standing hybrid warfare against Iran—one that includes media manipulation, cyber offensives, and coercive diplomacy. Drawing comparisons to the fates of Libya and Yemen, Khezrian emphasized that only firm, strategic resistance can safeguard Iran’s sovereignty.

“The American strike was not just aimed at uranium centrifuges, but at the will of our people,” he said. “To respond meekly would embolden further aggression and place our national security in long-term jeopardy.”

He further warned that any notion of re-engaging in negotiations in the wake of such blatant aggression would be tantamount to legitimizing the strike and weakening Iran’s strategic posture. “The time for diplomacy is over,” Khezrian stated. “America has chosen the path of war, and it must now bear the consequences.”

Echoing military rhetoric, he concluded: “Iran’s response will be intelligent, undetectable, and irreversible. Our enemies should expect a reckoning beyond their comprehension.”
