SAEDNEWS: Startling satellite imagery obtained by The Washington Post reveals that 16 trucks departed Iran's subterranean Fordow nuclear facility last Thursday, just two days before a reported U.S. attack on the site.

Satellite Images Reveal Mass Exodus from Fordow Nuclear Facility Before US Attack

According to Saed News, newly released satellite images are sparking intense speculation about the events leading up to a purported U.S. attack on Iran's highly sensitive Fordow nuclear enrichment plant. The images, cited by The Washington Post and originally from Mehr News Agency, show a flurry of "unusual truck movements" at the entrance to the Fordow facility on Thursday, July 22, 2025. Specifically, 16 trucks were observed exiting the fortified site, believed to be heading to an undisclosed location or locations.

This significant egress of vehicles occurred just 48 hours prior to reports of an American strike targeting the Fordow complex. The timing of the truck movements suggests that Iran may have anticipated an attack or received intelligence indicating an imminent threat, allowing them to potentially move valuable or sensitive components from the facility.

Fordow

Fordow, built deep inside a mountain to protect it from aerial bombardment, has been a contentious point in international negotiations over Iran's nuclear program. Its existence and the level of enrichment activity conducted there have long been sources of concern for Western powers and Israel.

The satellite imagery, if confirmed and fully analyzed, could indicate a strategic maneuver by Iran to safeguard its nuclear assets. The nature of the cargo carried by the 16 trucks remains unknown, but possibilities range from enriched uranium or centrifuges to other critical equipment or documentation.

Experts are now debating whether this pre-attack evacuation, if that is indeed what it was, could diminish the impact of any strike on Fordow. If key materials were successfully moved, the attack might have hit an emptied or partially emptied facility, potentially undermining its strategic objective. This development further complicates the already volatile geopolitical landscape in the Middle East and adds another layer of mystery to the ongoing covert operations and tensions between Iran and its adversaries.
