Saednews: The Secretary-General of the Democracy Party warned that if Trump enters a war with Iran, the conflict could spread and no U.S. base worldwide would be safe from attacks. He advised Trump, if he has any sense, to rein in the Zionist regime, noting that Iran was engaged in diplomacy when the regime acted maliciously.
According to Saednews:, Mostafa Kavakebian, Secretary-General of the Democracy Party, on Saturday afternoon, June 21, 2025 (31 Khordad 1404), explained the Zionist enemy’s goals behind the aggression against Iran in a television program. He said:
“My impression is that the Zionists, based on incorrect information they may have received, thought that inside Iran, due to existing problems, the people had laid out a red carpet for them and were ready to welcome Netanyahu and his masters.”
He added:
“The epic that the people created yesterday during Friday prayers and the subsequent marches in various cities showed that all enemy plans were mistaken. We saw individuals around the world supporting Iran, even those who might not accept the Islamic Republic but supported Iran for the sake of the homeland.”
The political activist emphasized the necessity of confronting infiltrators, saying:
“These individuals are servants and lackeys of the Zionist regime who sought to carry out operations in exchange for rations. They should know these days will pass and shame will remain for them. Their mercenary actions are utterly unforgivable under current conditions. Netanyahu and Trump clearly oppose the Islamic Republic and cannot tolerate this regime. These individuals are definitely condemnable, but I believe the greater condemnation, disgrace, and vileness belong to those who want to serve them and carry out anti-security actions inside the country. Security, intelligence, and law enforcement officials must identify these individuals precisely.”
Kavakebian continued, referring to the recent redefinition of the power equation in the region in favor of Iran:
“Some past and current leaders of the Zionist regime have indirectly acknowledged the unparalleled power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They did not expect that we would become so strong in missile and defense capabilities that we could destroy all their assets and foil their plans. Today, even some figures in the U.S. warn Trump not to make major mistakes regarding entering a war with Iran; because if Trump enters a war with Iran, the conflict could expand and none of the U.S. bases worldwide would be safe from our attacks. My advice to Mr. Trump is that if he has any sense, he should rein in the Zionist regime; because we were in the midst of negotiations and diplomacy, but the Zionist regime intervened and showed its maliciousness.”
He also criticized the UN Security Council’s inaction regarding the Zionist regime’s military attack on Iran:
“The Security Council should have shown more presence and action. Mr. Guterres, Secretary-General of the UN, and Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, must take a serious stance on this issue. I believe Mr. Grossi must be held accountable after this, and international bodies should compel him to answer; because at one point, he directed the Board of Governors, and based on his report, the Zionist regime committed crimes against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Yet, in other statements, he claimed Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons based on assessments.”
The Secretary-General of the Democracy Party emphasized that the Zionist regime’s military aggression against Iran demonstrated that the U.S. and Israel lost the cognitive war against the Iranian people, and from this perspective, we should consider ourselves victorious. He said:
“I urge the people to put aside their complaints during these times and, hand in hand, with unity and comprehensive solidarity, do something that will be remembered in history.”
