Saednews: Israel, in a brutal act, struck Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah and the Comprehensive Health Center in the city of Mianrahan in the Dinavar district of Kermanshah province with projectiles, causing damage to both the hospital and the medical center.
According to Saednews, while Israel claims that its attacks on Iran target military centers, in the past few days it has launched two attacks in Kermanshah against medical centers, causing extensive damage to a hospital and a healthcare center.
The Zionist regime, in a hostile and brutal act, began targeting Iran’s hospitals. In a savage move, it struck Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah and the Comprehensive Health Center in the city of Mianrahan, located in the Dinavar district of Kermanshah province, with projectiles, resulting in damage to both the hospital and the medical center.
By attacking Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, this regime has proven that it recognizes no limits to its crimes. Despite claiming it does not target ordinary people or hospitals, this is a blatant lie. This fake regime has been a pioneer in attacking hospitals, residential areas, women, and children and has committed war crimes. This is in line with an order issued by the regime’s defense minister to attack residential areas.
In the attack on Kermanshah, Farabi Hospital was hit and parts of the hospital sustained serious damage. Hospital equipment was destroyed, and the attack also caused injuries due to the projectiles.
In a clear crime, the projectiles of the brutal Zionist regime also hit the Comprehensive Health Center in Mianrahan city in the Dinavar district, causing severe damage to the center. Unfortunately, the center will be unusable until further notice. Among the damages, an emergency ambulance belonging to this center was also put out of service. This act once again exposed the atrocities of the Zionist monsters.
Now, Fereydoun Imani, Deputy Health Officer of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, has reported the complete destruction of the Comprehensive Health Center in the Dinavar district due to the Zionist regime’s attack and said: several treatment units and medical equipment were destroyed in this attack. According to initial expert assessments, various parts of this complex including the emergency medical base, the center’s ambulance, the doctors’ center, and the building of the Comprehensive Health Center have been completely destroyed. Although the health center building suffered less damage than other units, it still requires complete reconstruction.
He added that, following visits by technical experts, the damage has been estimated at 50 billion tomans. Initial assessments indicate about 50 billion tomans worth of structural damage to the center. The complex consisted of four to five buildings with floor areas ranging from 300 to 500 square meters, all of which were damaged. Besides structural damage, approximately 12 billion tomans worth of medical equipment and about 10 billion tomans worth of biomedical and administrative equipment, including computers, refrigerators, televisions, and other supplies, were damaged. This complex was a large treatment center where four doctors and several nursing and health staff were active.
Referring to the range of services provided by this center, he said: This health center was active 24 hours a day and offered services such as general practitioner care, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, laboratory, environmental health services, vaccination, and prenatal care to a population of over 10,000 people. Additionally, 13 health houses were affiliated with this center, providing comprehensive services in the area. Fortunately, only a few people were present at the site at the time of the incident. However, the doctor present sustained minor injuries and three to four other colleagues experienced shock effects. In total, about five people were injured, but fortunately, none were seriously wounded. Additionally, in the affiliated emergency center, two emergency medical staff sustained minor injuries.
