Saed News: The President of the United States said, “Elon Musk has done an extraordinary job, but he has not been treated fairly.”
According to Saed News’ political service, Donald Trump stated that he doesn’t “need” Elon Musk, the entrepreneur and head of the U.S. government's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but he truly “likes” him.
According to ISNA, during a meeting with members of his administration, Trump said: “I don’t need Elon for anything, except that I like him.”
Trump added that Musk has done an extraordinary job but has not been treated fairly.
Musk’s status in the federal government has long been unclear, as DOGE, under his leadership, holds an advisory role, while White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has described him as a “special government employee.”
U.S. media have reported that some cabinet members are frustrated by the fact that Musk, who was neither elected nor confirmed by the Senate, continues to issue directives to employees across various departments.
In recent weeks, several vehicles manufactured by Tesla, Musk’s electric car company, have been targeted across the United States—an act that both the entrepreneur and U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi have described as “domestic terrorism.” In March, to show support for Musk, Trump purchased a Tesla vehicle.
