SAEDNEWS: The Turkish TV show Esra Erol, one of the country’s most popular programs, has sparked countless debates on social media with its new topics. This time, a woman named Melik Karadağ appeared on the show seeking a divorce from her seventh husband.
According to Saed News, citing Vaghte Sobh, a few months ago, 43-year-old Malek Karadag met 78-year-old Sharafaddin at a bus stop, and the two got married. However, Malek claims that her husband’s children created tension in their relationship, eventually forcing her to consider divorce. She appeared on a talk show seeking help, insisting she did not want to leave her husband.
During the second episode of the show, Sharafaddin was invited to join. In a live broadcast, the couple faced each other. Sharafaddin exclaimed, “I came on this show to escape this woman. Save me! She wants to take all my property!”
Malek denied the accusations, saying, “I love my husband very much. No one can separate us… I would never harm him… I want him to come home so we can continue our happy life together.”
Sharafaddin, however, remained firm, claiming, “This woman is lying! She had me evicted from the house I’ve lived in for 40 years by court order. Then she tells me to come back home… I even spent three days in detention because of this case. She tricked me again!”
Despite the heated confrontation, Sharafaddin did not back down from his decision to divorce and added that he was willing to pay whatever dowry was required, as long as he could separate from Malek.
