SAEDNEWS: Israel’s military has unleashed a campaign of mass destruction on Gaza City, with tanks and warplanes flattening entire residential blocks in a bid to tighten its occupation of the besieged territory.
Overnight, relentless Israeli strikes hit Gaza City and Khan Younis, leaving trails of death and devastation.
At Nasser Hospital, doctors confirmed that three Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a makeshift tent for displaced families in the Asdaa area, northwest of Khan Younis.
The Kuwaiti Field Hospital reported a woman and child killed in another Israeli drone attack targeting tents west of Khan Younis.
In Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, an Israeli drone strike tore through a shelter for displaced people, wounding several civilians, according to ambulance services on the ground.
This followed a wave of Israeli bombings across Gaza City a day earlier, including an attack on a crowded market that killed five people.
Wafa news agency reported that an Israeli air strike on a home in the Daraj neighborhood killed at least two Palestinians and injured others.
Israeli forces have also been shelling and detonating homes in the Zeitoun and Sabra districts, leaving more families homeless under the rubble.
Medical sources across Gaza said at least a dozen Palestinians were killed in Israeli air raids since dawn.
Earlier reports confirmed five Palestinians, including a child, were killed by Israeli forces in southern Gaza, while two others were killed in Gaza City.
In one of the bloodiest single days in recent weeks, at least 64 Palestinians were massacred in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Tuesday, including the five killed at the market in Gaza City.
