Saed News: A cold winter front brought snow to parts of the southern United States on Tuesday, and the animals at the Houston Zoo were thrilled by this unexpected weather change.
According to Saed News: An Asian elephant calf joyfully experienced its first winter snow by running around the zoo, while nearby, a river otter began playfully rolling on the snowy ground. Other animals, like sea lions, also rejoiced in the zoo's pond, where the water temperature was adjusted, as the snow continued to fall around them.
This unusual snowstorm covered all of Texas and the northern Gulf Coast, blanketing New Orleans and Houston, blocking highways, canceling most flights, and closing schools for over a million students in the region, which is not accustomed to snowy days.
