IRGC Claims Successful Strike on US Bases Despite Aegis, THAAD, and Patriot Defenses

According to Saed News citing Khabaronline, Commander Majid Khadami, head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, stated that six out of twelve missiles launched by Iran struck American bases.

In a video released by a student from the commander’s speech, Khadami said: “In a small land called occupied Palestine, all the world’s air defense systems gathered. Due to their heavy reliance on the US, they forced the US to intervene by deploying a fighter jet and several missiles to the battlefield. We declared that if they interfered, we would target American bases.”

Regarding notifying Qatar about the attack on the US Al-Udeid base, he explained: “Naturally, we could not target US bases in other countries without informing them. Therefore, on the morning of the same day, we informed countries like Qatar of our intent to target these bases and asked them to distance themselves, as we were not in conflict with them.”

Khadami added: “Naturally, these countries inform the US that American centers will be attacked that night. The US was already aware that a specific airbase in the region was on our target list. In this operation, twelve ballistic missiles were fired, six of which hit their targets. This is well understood by military personnel and air defense specialists.”

He continued: “The Aegis system was active at sea, the US THAAD system was active on land, Patriot systems were operational, and 5,000-kilometer range radars were turned on, but despite all that, you could not do anything.”
