This Weird Couple Had 66 Wedding Celebrations!

According to Saed News Society Service, the venue for an engagement or wedding ceremony holds extraordinary importance for any young couple, who strive to host their wedding in a beautiful, flawless location with sweet memories. However, sometimes excessive sensitivity can lead people into trouble, prompting them to take high-risk, unusual actions. A British couple has been searching for a flawless location for their wedding celebration for some time, but so far, they’ve hit a dead end—celebrating their union in 66 different ways.

The London-based couple, Alex Pelling and Lisa Ghant, first met in Manchester in 2011. They have known each other for 14 years and have been in a romantic relationship for six. In pursuit of their goal, the young couple even had to sell their home along with all its belongings. Their journey began in June 2011 from Canada.

Since 2011, Alex and Lisa, globe-trotting British adventurers, have traveled to more than 66 countries to find the world’s best spot for a formal wedding, holding a marriage ceremony in each country according to its local customs.

Over the past three years, they have explored countries across various continents, with their most recent journey taking them to South Africa, where they held a wedding ceremony following the traditions of a local South African tribe.

Despite their extensive travels, the couple has yet to officially legalize their marriage and apparently intends to continue their global tour under the pretext of finding the world’s perfect wedding location.

It appears that Alex and Lisa are financially well-off, as the cost of traveling to 66 countries and hosting 66 wedding ceremonies in each would amount to a significant sum.

In their first trip to Australia in 2011, Alex and Lisa decided to start a global tour to find the ideal wedding spot, attending local ceremonies in various countries to explore which tradition and location might provide the perfect wedding experience.
