Saed news, While previously stating that the ceasefire had been violated by both sides, Israel and Iran, the President of the United States claimed in a new post on his social media platform Truth Social that “Israel does not intend to attack Iran” and added, “All the planes are returning home while waving to Iran. No one will be harmed, the ceasefire is in place.”
At the same time, after Israel accused Iran of violating the ceasefire and said it would respond in Tehran, Israeli media reported that Donald Trump is engaged in a phone conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to Axios, Netanyahu told Trump that he cannot cancel the attack and that a response to the “ceasefire violation by Iran” is necessary.
These reports claim that Israel is considering a “symbolic attack” outside of Tehran.
Earlier, Trump had said he did not think the ceasefire would fall apart and, in a message referring to the Israeli Defense Minister’s comments about responding to Iran, said, “Israel, don’t drop those bombs. If you do, that’s a major violation (of the ceasefire). Bring your pilots home.”
Trump’s claims were made while explosions were simultaneously heard in the city of Babolsar in Iran.
