Russia Denies Allegations of UN Charter Violations

According to SAEDNEWS, Russia has firmly rejected recent accusations claiming it has violated the UN Charter. Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized that Russia always acts according to international law.

Peskov stated, "We do not agree with such an attitude. We have said this many times. Russia follows all principles and norms of international law, especially when it comes to protecting its legitimate interests." This statement came in response to British Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s comments suggesting that Russia is in breach of the UN Charter.

He also highlighted Russia's opposition to what he called "double standards" in how international law is interpreted. "Both Britain and the United States are known for this,” Peskov added.
