Iraq-based Resistance Group Claims Attack on Israel's Eilat Port

According to SAEDNEWS, An Iraqi Islamic Resistance group has announced that it was behind a drone attack on the occupied port of Eilat in Israel.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the group stated it had targeted this important Israeli site using drones. This attack comes as part of a series of actions the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has carried out against Israeli positions since the conflict escalated in Gaza earlier this month.

Since early October, the Resistance has been targeting not only Israeli sites but also U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria. This retaliation is seen as a response to America’s backing of Israel amid ongoing violence in Gaza.

The situation in Gaza has drastically worsened, with Israel conducting extensive military operations that have affected hospitals, homes, and places of worship. This escalation followed a surprise attack by Palestinian Resistance movements named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, which occurred on October 7.
